Description

Irish, St. Paddy’s Day drink


Scale

Ingredients

1/2 C packed/muddled mint leaves

1 water

2 c sugar

Bourbon

Fresh mint sprigs


Instructions

Boil sugar and water 5 minutes and let cool. 

Muddle leaves with a pestle. Add to syrup. Refrigerate overnight. Strain muddled leaves. 

Fill glass with shaved ice. Add bourbon (100 proof). Add 1 teaspoon of the syrup or more to taste. Stir wit a sprig of fresh mint. 2 parts bourbon to 1 part syrup is the recommendation.

Description

A sweet and girly hot pink margarita. Major wow factor for ladies brunches, etc.


Ingredients

  • Limes or water
  • Flavored Martini sugar (mango, berry, etc)
  • Margarita salt
  • Ice
  • Silver tequila
  • Lime flavored margarita mix (with or without alcohol)
  • Prickly Pear juice

Instructions

  1. Wet glass with lime or water.
  2. Rim with sugar first, then margarita salt
  3. Add ice
  4. Add tequila
  5. Add mixer, almost to top
  6. Drizzle Prickly pear juice just prior to serving. (wow factor)

Notes

  • For a sweeter version, add Sunomono juice too and garnish with the cucumber.

Description

Taking the burp out of cucumbers!

Ingredients

  • Cucumbers
  • 1/4 C white vinegar
  • 1/4 C white sugar
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice cucumbers and fill a mason jar or tupperware with them.
  2. Add vinegar and sugar and top with water.
  3. Seal and shake.

Notes

  • Keeps in fridge for 6 months.
  • Use the juice for cocktails!
  • Makes the cucumbers taste very sweet. Not like a relish though. Very faint and light.
  • This is a take from a Japanese recipe but without the seaweed.
  • This makes for a super easy, cheap, and fun gift to others!
